1. Who We Are

Bunny is developed and published by Build Kitchen Studio. For any privacy-related questions, you can reach us at bunny@buildkitchen.studio.

2. Data We Do Not Collect

We want to be explicit about what we do not collect:

• No names, email addresses, or account information
• No location data
• No analytics or usage tracking
• No advertising identifiers or device fingerprinting
• No cookies or web tracking technologies
• No human health or medical data (this app tracks pet rabbit health only)
• No contact lists, call logs, or browsing history

3. Data That Exists on Your Device

The following data is created and stored locally on your device only. Build Kitchen Studio has no access to this data.

4. Third-Party Services

4a. RevenueCat (Subscription Management)

We use RevenueCat to manage subscription purchases. When you subscribe to Bunny Pro, RevenueCat receives:

• Purchase receipts from Apple App Store or Google Play Store
• Subscription status (active, expired, trial, etc.)
• Anonymous app user identifiers (not linked to your personal identity)
• Transaction identifiers and product identifiers

RevenueCat does not receive your name, email, or any personal information from Bunny. RevenueCat acts as a data processor on our behalf for the sole purpose of subscription validation. For details, see RevenueCat's Privacy Policy and Data Processing Addendum.

4b. Apple iCloud (iOS Only)

If you enable iCloud sync, your rabbit data is synced to your own iCloud account via Apple's CloudKit private database. This data is stored in your personal iCloud account — Build Kitchen Studio has no access to it and cannot read, modify, or delete it. Apple manages iCloud data according to Apple's Privacy Policy.

4c. Google Drive (Android Only)

If you enable Google Drive sync, your rabbit data is backed up to your own Google Drive AppData folder. This data is stored in your personal Google account — Build Kitchen Studio has no access to it and cannot read, modify, or delete it. Google manages this data according to Google's Privacy Policy.

5. Camera and Photo Library

Bunny requests access to your camera and photo library solely to let you photograph your rabbits for the photo diary feature. Photos you take or select are stored locally on your device only. They are never uploaded to any server or shared with any third party. Photos may optionally sync to your iCloud or Google Drive account if you enable sync (see Section 4).

6. Biometric Authentication

Bunny offers an optional app lock using Face ID, Touch ID, or fingerprint authentication. Biometric authentication is handled entirely by your device's operating system. Bunny never accesses, stores, or transmits your biometric data. The app only receives a success or failure result from the operating system.

7. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, trade, or share your data with any third party for advertising, marketing, or any purpose other than providing the app's functionality.

The only data shared with a third party is purchase receipt information sent to RevenueCat for subscription validation (see Section 4a).

8. Data Retention

• Local data: Remains on your device until you delete it within the app or uninstall the app. You can erase all data from within the app's Settings screen.
• RevenueCat data: Purchase history is retained by RevenueCat according to their privacy policy. You can request deletion by contacting us.
• Cloud sync data: Retained in your iCloud or Google Drive account until you delete it through your account settings.

9. Data Security

All data is stored locally on your device and protected by your device's built-in encryption. Cloud sync data is encrypted in transit by Apple (iCloud) and Google (Google Drive) respectively. Bunny does not operate any servers, databases, or backend infrastructure.

10. Children's Privacy

Bunny is not directed at children under 13 (or under 16 in the European Economic Area). We do not knowingly collect any information from children. Since Bunny does not collect personal information from any user, this risk is minimal. If you believe a child is using the app in a way that concerns you, please contact us.

11. Your Rights Under GDPR (European Economic Area)

If you are located in the EEA, you have the following rights:

• Right of Access: All your data is stored on your device — you can view it directly in the app at any time.
• Right to Rectification: You can edit any data within the app.
• Right to Erasure: You can delete individual records or erase all data from Settings. For RevenueCat data, contact us at bunny@buildkitchen.studio.
• Right to Data Portability: You can export your data as JSON from the app's Settings screen. Vet records and journal chapters can be exported as PDF.
• Right to Object: We do not perform profiling or automated decision-making.

Legal basis for processing: Contract performance (providing app functionality) and legitimate interest (subscription validation via RevenueCat).

International transfers: RevenueCat may process purchase data in the United States. RevenueCat maintains a Data Processing Addendum that addresses international data transfer requirements.

12. Your Rights Under CCPA (California Residents)

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) provides you with the following rights:

• Right to Know: We collect only purchase history data via RevenueCat (see Section 4a). No other personal information is collected.
• Right to Delete: Contact us at bunny@buildkitchen.studio to request deletion of any data held by RevenueCat on our behalf. Local data can be deleted within the app.
• Right to Non-Discrimination: We will not treat you differently for exercising your privacy rights.
• Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information: We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties for advertising or cross-context behavioral advertising purposes.

13. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this page periodically. Your continued use of Bunny after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
